Italian Table Clock in Louis XV style, hand painted with flowers

Made in Italy Louis XV Mantel (Table) Clock with violin shaped case, cream craquelé finish and hand painted flowers. It is decorated with cast brass ornaments: pediment with acanthus leaves, border around the dial and rocaille feet. The dial has Roman numerals on enamel plates and an openwork brass center, and the pendulum is visible through the front glass. It is a romantic piece, suitable for the living room, bedroom or on a classic chest of drawers.
